New e-bike Tuning Modules VOLSPEED V4 for BOSCH

VOLspeed is also launching a real innovation these days. The VOLspeed Bosch Active Performance V4 tuning module. For all Bosch drives since the 2014 model year: Active Line, Active Line Plus and Performance Line (CX). The new module does not support the "Smart System", also known as "BES3", from the year 2022. We present the most important innovations.

Plug & Ride is the important keyword: Unlike the predecessor models, setup is no longer necessary. The tuning module can be used immediately after installation. All the necessary settings are made automatically. This also applies in the event of a conversion, temporary removal or when replacing the display.

Here is an overview of the new and known functions of the VOLspeed Performance V4 for e-bikes and pedelecs with Bosch motors.

New: immediately ready for operation after installation! Automatic setup and initialization.
Tuning can be easily switched on and off via buttons on the control unit.
After switching on, the control speed can be set in the range 25 to 45 km/h using the plus/minus keys. The last set value is saved.
After switching on the bike, the tuning is always switched off.
Setting of a "softer down-regulation behavior" possible (dynamic mode). The otherwise very sudden shutdown at the speed limit is thereby significantly weakened.
New: Support levels can be set individually (alternative mode). An individual setting can also be defined for each speed level and easily recalled during the ride. (This feature is not available with the Smartphone Hub and Cobi).
Individual activation code can be set (this feature is not available with the Smartphone Hub and Cobi).
Correct display of speed, distance traveled, and average speed at all times.
Remaining range calculation when tuning is active, taking into account the individual driving style.
Battery display in percent alternating with the remaining range when tuning is active. Interval: Four sec. range, one sec. battery level (only with Intuvia and Purion).
Correct total mileage of the e-bike even after removing the tuning module, as the kilometers are stored in the motor controller by the tuning module.
