Ibero Vespa 2024: Serpa

When you hear the Portuguese town of Serpa, you don't necessarily think of a Vespa, but rather of Cante Alentejano. This is traditional choral singing, which has been on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity list since 2014. Serpa is also known for its impressive castle, around which battles have raged over the centuries. Today, everything is peaceful and only the dragon in the town's coat of arms is a reminder of its wild and adventurous past.

Travelling through Portugal on a Vespa

All the more reason for the Vespa Club de Lisboa to organise the 24th Ibero Vespa here, one of the biggest annual events for Vespisti in Portugal. And around 250 friends of the two-stroke came to Serpa from 31 May to 2 June to celebrate together and go for rides in the surrounding countryside. SIP Scootershop has been supporting this event for several years and the club sent us lots of photos, which we would of course like to share with you. The impressions we got from the fantastic pictures make us want to take a trip to the south to get to know the people and culture better. Take a look at the photo gallery and dream. And if you want to see even more, go straight to the Vespa Club de Lisboa homepage. Attention! Sudden wanderlust is possible.
