Father Christmas on a Vespa

Last December, under the grey skies of Paris, fifteen members of the Paris-Ile-de-France Vespa Club gathered at the Armand-Trousseau Children's Hospital, more precisely in the paediatric consultation building, to fulfil a very special mission: to bring a little magic and comfort to the young patients.

This charitable morning, organised for the third time in collaboration with the "Un Cadeau pour la Vie" association, was designed to bring a smile to the faces of the children in the hospital. Thanks to the generous support of our partner "SIP Scootershop", we were able to distribute hundreds of gifts, including beautiful Vespa-themed puzzles, which were a great success.

The participants, all dressed up as jolly elves, helped Father Christmas distribute the presents and took unforgettable photos. Each child had the opportunity to sit next to Father Christmas on a scooter specially decorated for the occasion and go home with a postcard-like photo as a souvenir. The beaming smiles of the children - and their parents - warmed everyone's hearts and gave true meaning to this wonderful event.

Some club members travelled over 100 kilometres in the cold to take part in this solidarity initiative and show their commitment and passion.

A magical morning at Trousseau Hospital

After our initial set up at the main entrance of the hospital, we were invited by the staff to visit the paediatric emergency department, where access is more restricted, to continue distributing gifts. In just three hours, all our gift boxes were completely empty!

We ended this moving morning with a meal together, talking about the joyful memories we had created. The puzzles generously provided by SIP Scootershop proved to be perfect for a hospital stay and were much appreciated by both the children and their parents.

We may have even inspired a future passion for scooters in some of these children. One thing is for sure: this third edition will be remembered by all and we look forward to repeating this event to continue spreading smiles and a bit of Christmas magic.

A big thank you to SIP Scootershop for their incredible generosity, without which this event would not have been the same. Your Puzzles brought so much joy to the children and we are deeply grateful for your support.
