Exhaust SIP Road 3.0 with 125cc Vespa
Our exhaust is not completely new, but we would like to show you in this video how it works in combination with a large 125cc bike. SIP Road 3.0 works in combination with a 125 largeframe and a Polini 177 cc cylinder.
For this, Jesco went to our performance test bench and first measured the performance with the good old SIP Road 2.0: 14 hp and 6,100 rpm. Not bad, definitely suitable for everyday use and a tour is also possible with this setup.
After a bit of model knowledge on the subject of "exhaust", Jesco sets about fitting the SIP Road 3.0. No witchcraft, as you can see in the video. Remove the spring, loosen a few screws, deflate a little - and away with the popular classic. Then all the work steps the other way round and the new box exhaust system is already sitting where it should be.
Back to the test bench and now it's getting exciting: 15 hp. Jesco explains the 10 per cent increase in power in detail.
Conclusion: An inexpensive upgrade for a simple setup that is suitable for everyone and does not require any great tuning knowledge.
