Hot information from the EICMA 2022 motorbike show! PIAGGIO presented the new models of the Vespa GTS 125 and GTS 300, which are to be launched in 2023. Our man Jesco was on site and shows you the latest info around this gem. Is it more than just a facelift? What does the new front suspension look like? Which brakes are fitted?

We can already provide some technical data. For each displacement class, there will be the GTS, GTS Super, GTS SuperSport and GTS SuperTech models. The bodywork is still made of steel and PIAGGIO has largely remained true to the old look of the GTS. The seat, however, has been made even more ergonomic. Owners of the GTS will no longer need a key, the new feature is called "Keyless System", which also opens the seat and unlocks the steering wheel lock.

The SuperTech can look forward to a smart TFT colour display, all other models have more displays installed centrally and the GTS and GTS Super can also be retrofitted with the Vespa MIA connectivity system. We are curious to see how the new GTS will finally drive. However, the engine of the new Vespa GTS is unchanged and still has 23.8 hp. Those who want more power will find what they are looking for here, e.g. with our tuning kits or the Akrapovic exhaust system.

Since its introduction six years ago, the Vespa GTV has marked a top position within the Vespa family. Thanks to the "Faro Basso" (low headlight) - now in modern LED technology - and the exposed handlebar, stylistic references to the most iconic models of the 1940s are evident on the Vespa GTV. At EICMA 2022, the Vespa GTV will be presented with a new look, combined with a modern equipment package and sporty paint finishes.

Colour up your life: the new Vespa Primavera Color Vibe
The new Vespa Primavera Color Vibe is a Vespa on psychogenics. It features a special two-tone paint finish: available in Orange Colour Vibe and White Colour Vibe, combined with a footwell and rims in the colour Ottanio (turquoise) and finished off with graphics in a contrasting colour, diagonally across the entire bodywork on the sides of the leg shield and along the side panels, to create an eye-catcher. There are also black details such as the headlight and tail light frames, trim strips, the fin on the front mudguard, the spring cover, the passenger handle and the muffler cover. Even the seat is black, with anthracite stitching. Comes in a 50cc and a 125cc version.

Vespa 946 10° Anniversario
The Vespa 946 (nuova quarantasei, "new 1946") from 2013 has become a veritable collector's item. Now, 10 years later, the Vespa 946 debuts in a special 10° Anniversario look with an exclusive special colour that is a modern interpretation of the classic Vespa shade of green. The Vespa 946 10° Anniversario is presented in a pastel green colour. All the details of the Vespa 946 10° Anniversario have a refined finish with warm tones, starting with the aluminium alloy rims, whose design is inspired by the historic drum brakes of the first Vespas. The comfortably padded seat is black with burnished stitching, as are the hand-stitched grips. Many of these parts correspond to the usual VESPA modular system and can also be fitted to other models, always a popular way of customising a Vespa. We will gradually add these items to our range, watch out!

We have everything around the Tuning for Modern Vespa and a Blog including video on the subject of Modern Vespa.
