Autumn time is EICMA time, and we took a look around for you at the world's largest motorbike show to see what there is to see for us Vespa lovers. The manufacturer always presents the new models there, this time for the 2020 model year. The big bang was missing, but there are interesting special models from Pontedera to see.

A special model was designed with US designer Sean Wotherspoon and accompanied by a streetwear collection:

There is a (RED) version of the Primavera that supports the fight against AIDS.

For the GTS models, the Italians looked back to the 60s and came up with the special model "Vespa Racing Sixties". There is a green and a white colour version:

There will be a 70km/h version of the Vespa Elettrica, as opposed to the standard 45km/h version.

What else was there to see?

PINASCO has a new oil seal solution for the crankshaft of Vespa largeframe engines, Sticky from SLUK presents it here in a YouTube video:

PINASCO also presents a complete engine for Vespa Wideframe models with about 15HP.

For Vespa Smallframe there should be a particularly powerful clutch new.

We at SIP Scootershop also have a few of our own products to present in time for the EICMA:

Our line-up of particularly high-performance tyres for scooters has been expanded by interesting models:

With the SIP Performance tyre in the size 3.50-10 we offer a particularly sporty tyre with an approval up to 150km/h at a very attractive price.

Also new is the SIP CLASSIC tyre in sizes 3.50-8, 3.00-10 and 3.50-10. It offers a classic Vespa or Lambretta tread with modern riding characteristics and a speed index up to 150km/h, mountable with tube or on tubeless rim.

Also new is the SIP PERFORMANCE ignition for the Vespa T5! Many have been waiting for this addition to our ignition family for a long time, and now we can finally present it to you. By the way, the SIP Performance ignition will soon be available for the Vespa 150 GS models as well!

POLINI has presented a new cylinder kit for Vespa GTS 300 Euro 3 and 4 models. The POLINI POWER Expolision tuning kit delivers a genuine 294cc with a bore of Ø=77mm. POLINI uses the "HTR" ring technology from Formula 1, which makes it possible to increase the contact surface of the cylinder head gasket.

The CDI included in the scope of delivery can call up two mappings depending on the set-up.

  • - Stage I: Racing cylinder, Vario and standard exhaust
  • - Stage II: Racing cylinder, Vario and sport exhaust

POLINI promises pure performance in all speed ranges. Item no. P1400224 € 699,-

CDI ignition unit POLINI ECM Vespa Primavera/Sprint Euro 4 3-valve

For the heavily throttled 50cc Euro4 3-valve iGet engines of the Vespa Primavera/Sprint and PIAGGIO Liberty models, POLINI has developed a tuning control unit. Optimised ignition and injection curves provide a clearly noticeable increase in power. The increase of the rev limiter enables a higher top speed. Art. no. P1710009 € 219,-
