DEUS Custom Vespa GTS 300 Super Sport "Don't Panic"

Some bikes offer more than just speed - they bring style, tradition and a touch of Mediterranean flair, even in the middle of winter. For those who like to enjoy life in a slightly slower lane, a custom Vespa 300 SuperSport in Bel-Air style, subtly trimmed and reinterpreted, is the perfect means of transport.

A Vespa carries a legacy - timeless lines, effortless style and a soul made for riding. When one rolled into the Deus workshop, master craftsman Jeremy Tagand saw more than just an heirloom: he saw potential. The result? An elegant, modern interpretation that refines the classic curves with high-tech elegance and combines the best of the past and present in perfect balance.

Unobtrusive Vespa with digital SIP speedometer

Reduced to the core, Jeremy got to work: he smoothed out the recesses of the original rear Indicators and Rear Light and created a seamless transition from the Seat to the rear. Under the tighter rear Mudguard, the number plate finds its place between extremely narrow Kellermann lights - so discreet that they almost apologise for their existence.

The front Indicators received the same treatment. After removing the original mountings, the Kellermann Atto lights were relocated to the old mirror mounts on the Handlebar, allowing the front fork and front wheel to stand out better.

The Vespa's new profile is supported by an adjustable YSS Blackline chassis, while Michelin Tyres ensure a secure grip. The Engine finds its voice through a complete Akrapovič exhaust system, which has been ceramic-coated in black - performance with a camouflage look.

In keeping with the refined body lines, the cockpit has been given a modern but unobtrusive upgrade: a SIP digital speedometer, Motogadget grips, switches, Mirror Handlebar Ends and a dimmed LED headlight.

The frame shines in matt black with glossy accents - a masterpiece from the hands of Colourfuel. Comfort and craftsmanship come together in the Seat: slightly raised at the rear for longer rides, covered in a mix of smooth, perforated and Alcantara leather. The seams follow the natural lines of the Vespa. Powder-coated details on the brake levers and Side Stand round off the overall look.

A Vespa 300 SuperSport, rethought. Classic where it matters, modern where it matters and timeless in every other aspect. No gimmicks, no complicated explanations - simply a machine that has found its true identity.

Affectionately called "Don't Panic". The name fits. Not loud, not ostentatious - just effortlessly self-confident. A remodelling that turns what is already there into something you like to look at twice.

About Deus Ex Machina

Deus ex Machina ("God from the machine") burst into Australia's cultural consciousness in 2006 with a couple of skilfully modified motorbikes and the charming idea that doing is more fun than just owning.

Deus ex Machina is more than just a brand: it's a culture. The Australian openness and enthusiasm appeals to people everywhere ..

Deus ("Day-us") didn't just want to sell custom parts and hand-built motorbikes, it wanted to celebrate a culture of creativity. The Deus Ex Machina showroom/café/headquarters in Sydney immediately became a temple to a do-what-you-can mentality and street-honest industrial art.

Deus Ex Machina is the sum of many parts; it's not just an idea, it's a philosophy rather than a brand. A great cornucopia of fun that welcomes every kind of enthusiasm.
