Custom Creations: Martini Racer & Classic Lambretta

Created by Dietrich Limper at 13:12 on December 13, 2023

Nick from near Nuremberg also has the honour of presenting two of his scooters in our "Custom Creations" series. Vespas and Lambrettas have been one of his passions since the early 1990s and the Martini Racer has a history all of its own. It was built together with Joachim "Jockey" Müller around the turn of the millennium and the design is based on the famous Lancia Delta HR Integrale, the wet dream of all Wannabe racers at the time who wanted to show a Golf GTI the Rear Light.

A find in Austria

For business reasons, the Martini scooter had to be sold in 2003, but by chance Nick rediscovered his creation in Austria in 2015. After "tinkering" with the owner for a few years, he was able to buy it and bring it back home. A truly heart-warming story and Jesco has to shed a tear.

The second scooter Nick brought to the Custom Show was a legend of the 90s. A black Lambretta with a flame look, painted by Pfeil-Design. Back then, the builder and rider was Robert "Zini" Zinnhöcker from Stoffis Garage. It was already an eye-catcher back then and is now an absolute classic in customising history.

We hope to see more customised scooters from Nick in the future!
