Custom Creations: Benno and the Wild Wild West
Benno from the Kelten Rollerclub Ostholstein did not build the custom scooter in this video himself, but he has done a great deal to preserve it. We are talking about the Lambretta called "Once Upon a Time in the West". Shortly before the owner was able to sell the scooter, Benno threw himself in front of the departing train with the courage of his life, so to speak, and saved the two-wheeler from its journey into oblivion. Well done, Benno!
Old School Wild West Style
Do we have to carry owls to Athens? OK, we do. The theme of this scooter is a homage to the legendary western film icon by director Sergio Leone. in 1968, the flick was released under the title "Once Upon A Time In The West". It stars Charles "Harmonica" Bronson, Henry Fonda, Jason Robards and Claudia Cardinale, who turned the heads of all young (and old) men back then.
Be that as it may, the airbrush design, all the paintwork and Postcard pictures are by Rainer Judaschke. Jesco is amazed at the many different parts that have been used on the Lambretta: Italian 125 LI Frame, GP Handlebar and Mudguard, LI Legshield as well as a Toolbox lid from Spain with a particularly ingenious mechanism. A scooter as it was built and styled at the turn of the millennium.
We wish Benno lots of fun with his Lambretta in Western look!
