Custom Creation: Matscho Karatscho Vespa PK

In this episode of the "Custom Creations" series, Jesco welcomes an old friend of the house: Thomas "Hasi" Haas, a loyal passenger on many rides and a guest on many Starters. Last year, he built himself a scooter especially for the second edition of Matscho Karatscho. In the video, he explains why he went for a "low budget" and which components he used.

Thomas didn't have to invest too much work, as he still had most of the parts in stock in his inventory. Most of the time probably went into the elaborate paintwork, which is really "easy on the eyes". But perhaps Thomas and his Vespa PK can also be the motivation for one or two others who are still toying with the idea of registering for the Matscho Karatscho 2024, which will take place on 27 July. You don't have to spend a fortune to prepare a competitive Vespa for the race. Our Hasi finished 8th in his first race and 11th in the second, which resulted in a stable 9th place in the overall standings.

We would like to thank Thomas for taking part in our format and the race. We also hope that he will surprise us again this year with a conversion and take it out on the track. We are keeping our fingers crossed.
