Brexit - SIP Scootershop: How do I get my Vespa & Lambretta parts to the UK?

Created by Ralf Jodl at 18:01 on January 7, 2021

SIP Scootershop is shipping Vespa & Lambretta parts to the UK as usual, also after BREXIT. Due to significantly increased shipping costs of the service providers, we can unfortunately no longer offer our EU Flatrate for Great Britain. Customers can choose between DHL, UPS and FEDEX.

With the completed Brexit and the end of the transition phase, since January 1st, 2021, cross-border shipments to Wales, Scotland and England ( “Great Britain, UK”) are no longer subject to the European VAT system directive. Northern Ireland remains within the scope of the EU.

Our customers receive their goods within a few working days, depending on the service provider. Express Service is available at extra costs. Our customers need to pay the customs duties as well as import costs in advance, otherwise the order cannot be delivered and delays will follow. These "customs invoices" are issued by the service providers.

All goods being sent by us are not subjected to duties. We have collected all frequently asked questions in this Special FAQ BREXIT for you.

We are happy to say in total this is not changing very much for us as a supplier nor does it change very much for our valued UK customers. We are here for you, on our

UK Hotline +44 (0) 2038 701487 as well as in our UK webshop
