10 years of Scooterist Meltdown at Wunderland Kalkar
The Scooterist Meltdown is and remains a very special scooter meeting. So special that the "who's who" of the English, German and now also Italian scooter scene has been meeting there for 10 years now.
February, a traditionally uneventful month in the event calendar of passionate scooter riders, is the ideal time for an all-inclusive indoor scooter meeting. "All-inclusive" here not only means that hotel rooms, food and drink are included in the weekend ticket, but also that the possible interests of Gear Pulley enthusiasts are comprehensively catered for. Whether tuner, customiser, dealer, racer or collector - the Custom and Trade Show offers the most interesting news from all over Europe for everyone.

Custom, tuning, party
The two-cylinder lambrequins were a highlight of the dealer mile this year. Four manufacturers presented different concepts on site, the most spectacular being the version from Casa Performance with 86.5 hp, which was also the top mark in the "Major Power Award". The most unusual conversion in terms of engine tuning was presented by Jürgen Posch with a 306 BFA Engine, equipped with a supercharger and nitrous oxide injection.
The Custom Show once again featured the "Who's Who" of the scene. This year, the paint jobs stood out in particular, with Gary Wickham's tribute to Joe Strummer, the "Highlander" by Z-Design and "He-Man" by Christian Fitz being especially impressive. It is difficult to single out one scooter in particular.
For fans of different styles of music, the weekend offered more than enough evening entertainment on four floors. Not only the obligatory "Northern Soul", which filled the "Main Floor", but also first-class DJs ensured an exceptionally good atmosphere on both evenings.
Many thanks to the organisers for this special weekend in February, we hope for another 10 years - at least!
