An often disregarded part - but oh so important, the automatic scooter fan belt. We have good reasons for carrying the well known manufacturers MALOSSI and POLINI in our product line; we know from year long experience that they use first class material only. In the areas where the both firms do not offer products, we go back to original accessories. It's of major importance to find the right material combination; neither too soft nor too hard materials (that prevent slipping). Kevlar inserts make the fan belts considerably more wear and tear resistant, as compared to the much too expensive original replacement parts. Your advantages are obvious; longer intervals between maintenance and longer life without changes in the vario adjustment. A common scenario: a worn out fan belt, a scooter that no longer reaches top speeds, the fan belt starts to slip, which in turn can lead to a damaged belt pully, and that will be expensive. To be on the safe side, follow manufacturer's instructions and replace your fan belt as recommended. A torn fan belt on the road can be more than inconvenient; it could ruin your motor!
