But first, a short info about nitrous oxide: it's chemical formula is N20; it neither explodes, nor can it burn. N20"s high oxygen component is actually what improves your motor's combustion - and how! PIRANHA's kit is a wet N20 system; gas and fuel flow together through the intake port. This method is treats your motor much better than the conventional dry method. There, gas enters the combustion chamber under high pressure, often turning the mix suddenly lean. Used with properly tuned motors, N20 can be used continuously until the bottle is empty. Optimal N20 pressure lies between 600 - 800 psi. This system is suitable for all single cylinder motors, whether scooter, quad or motorcycle.
Included in delivery are: 2.5 lb. bottle, 2 ft. hose, main switch, Piranha nozzle, full throttle switch, solenoid-controlled valve, bottle holder, fuel pump, and all small parts. A battery is necessary: either cable tree connected to ignition, or separate with external charge. The N20 kit can be mounted on both 2 and 4 stroke motors!
The kit comes with an empty 2.5 lb. aluminum bottle, original NX. Unfortunately, we cannot ship filled bottles, because they are classified as hazardous materials. You can get your bottle filled at any local gas dealer, simply ask for technical N20; medicinal N20 is sold only to hospitals, due to danger of drug abuse. Often, you will have to purchase a 5 kilo bottle, which in the long run, is no problem: N20 is liquid, making filling and refilling your bottle easy.
