The MALOSSI RX exhaust series is the successor to the successful 'Wild Lion' line. The matt brushed surface finish and carbon fibre end caps of the silencer unit ensure a smart and up-to-date appearance. The internals of the pipe have been completely redesigned, which has resulted in a considerable reduction in overall weight of the unit, compared with other stainless steel exhausts currently available for maxi scooter models. The RX systems low weight of just 3.5 kg makes it considerably lighter than its immediate competitor pipes.
This extensive reduction in weight does not mean an automatic increase in noise levels though. Despite its lightweight construction the MALOSSI RX exhausts lie well within legal noise limitations, as is proudly displayed by its E9 and E5 approval stamps.
Experience – The many years of real racing experience by MALOSSI flows directly into the development of their performance orientated products and it shows. MALOSSI have tackled an age-old problem of the manifolds splitting on most previous types by equipping this system with extra rubber bushing to better insulate the mounting points and so eliminate harmful vibrations. This ensures a more enduring exhaust system.
If the power output requires a boost, MALOSSI have included a racing dB killer within the unit. Upon removal the EU approval stamps become invalid and the exhaust should from then on only be used off-road, but we'll leave that sort of decision to our customers...

SIP-TIP: Racing exhaust systems alter the amount of injected fuel charge and affect the thermal properties of your cylinder. To alleviate these problems we strongly recommend the use of the MALOSSI O2 lambda emulator in combination with this exhaust system.
