The black plastic POLINI racing air filters do not contain any integrated filter material. These function as an air-box which dampens the intake noise and calms the flow of the intake air.
MALOSSI has a functionally similar air filter on offer. It is also available in an optimised version for the SHB 16.10-16.16 with an internal air filter that is made of red foam.
The RAMAIR air filters (length 70 or 85mm) convince thanks to their perfect filter attributes, offer high air flow rate and are easy to wash.
Conclusion: The kick for the original SHB carburettor. Optimal for decent road tuning.
