Indicators are obligatory (in Germany) for any vintage scooter built in ‘61 or later with more than 125cc. Anyone who carries out motor-related upgrades will therefore be unable to avoid making adjustments to their indicators. It is easiest to retrofit the indicators at the handlebar ends with the appropriate grips. We recommend the SIP handlebar end indicators with the E-quality mark as suitable indicators.
SIP TIP: The grip is approx. 1mm too large to hold on the gas pipe and switching tube of the Vespa 125 VNA/VNB/150 VB1/VBA/VBB/VGL1/VGLA-B/150 GS VS2-5/160 GS models. Simply compensate for the distance with a little adhesive tape and the grip will sit perfectly.
The inner diameter of this handlebar grip is about 1mm too large to fit the throttle or gear change sides of the steering assembly of the following VESPA models: Vespa 125 VNA/ VNB/ VB1 150/ VBA/ VBB/ VGL1 /VGLA-B/ GS 150 VS2-5/ GS 160. Take some gaffer tape and wrap it around both steering rods until the necessary diameter is reached in order to mount the grips correctly.
