Unlike the older large frame models, the PX is fitted with a split handlebar. If the cast handlebar lower part is damaged, it must be imperatively replaced. The handlebar lower parts can be supplied for models with a drum brake and a disc brake.
For the PX with a drum brake, we can offer the handlebar lower parts in PIAGGIO original equipment manufacturer quality. Should PIAGGIO experience any supply bottlenecks, one can fall back on lower parts from LML. In terms of the quality, we are unable to tell the difference. The handlebar lower part of the '98 models is perfect for retrofitting on disc brakes as the fixture for the master brake cylinder is already pre-mounted. The handlebar lower part in a carbon finish is not only suitable for custom scooters.
SIP-TIP: Order new screws for the steering head and set of bearings at the same time. Particularly effective combined with the chrome-plated steering head cover.
