The complete PX Lusso drive shaft gear kit includes 4 gear cogs with 57, 42, 38 and 35 cog teeth respectively, a gear selector cruciform, a selector rod and the relevant spacers and circlips. This kit saves ordering all the parts you need separately to overhaul your drive shaft assembly. The kits are available in two versions, the high end package is produced by MEC EUR, the budget version by LML. The existing input shaft is 100% compatible and does not have to be replaced or modified. The drive shaft produced by MEC EUR has the grooves that help hold the cruciform in position during engine use, typical of the OE PIAGGIO PX Lusso drive shaft design along with the relevant spacers and circlips. The LML design does not include the Lusso grooves and is therefore more suited to the more moderately tuned scooters (under 15 PS). The LML kit also lends itself ideally to untuned standard engine rebuilds.
