If your clutch bell has a blue taint due to overheating, or its interior noticeably worn or damaged, the clutch shoes will not last as long as they could do. If it is warped and misshaped, it will cause clutch slip and a jerky acceleration. This means it requires immediate replacement.
The clutch bells manufactured by RMS/PIAGGIO are designed as replacements for the original components when they are either worn or damaged. The RMS clutch bells are produced in OEM quality, but are noticeably more economically priced.
SIP-TIP : Do not forget to order new fixing nuts for the clutch and a suitable holding tool. The V-belt, variator unit and also the clutch itself should also be checked and replaced as necessary.
