No fully hydrostatic conversion without STAHL-FLEX (braided steel) brake hoses. These make ruptures and tears almost impossible. Varying temperatures are no longer any problem either. The stainless steel mesh and the internal PTFE coating mean an exact pressure point is clearly tangible and the hose cannot draw in any water. The stretching of the hose is also prevented, and porous or swollen hoses become a thing of the past. We also recommend PX'98/MY/'11 riders replace their rubber hoses.
The brake hoses from German manufacturer ABM are ready mounted and come delivered with TÜV (German MOT) certification. They are easy to pull through the steering column. After this, the connections are screwed into place. The scratching of the paint is prevented through the sheathing of the STAHL-FLEX (braided steel) hoses. The line is available in different colours and lengths. The SIP brake hose kit is universal but it does not have TÜV (German Ministry of Transport) certification. It is supplied with a 200 cm Stahlflex hose and all connections and banjo screws. Our STAHL-FLEX (braided steel) brake hose has a diameter of just 6mm which means it can be installed within the steering shaft without any problem. Our brake hose has an interior coating with the highly resistant material PTFE. The connection pieces are rust-proof and a top quality, made in England product. The complete brake hose can be attached without using a special tool, the connections are screwed into position. Full 100% water-proofing is guaranteed with the correct installation. The sealing olives can also withstand huge pressure.
SIP-TIP: Do not forget the right main brake cylinder and brake fluid. Your customisation job is perfect with coloured banjo screws.
