  • Re: PX 150 2011 TUNING ADVICE- SIP STAFF?

Your 150's carb box is set for a 20mm carb throat. When you bolt on a 24mm carburator over it, the carb. box is a bottleneck since the area of the admission of the carb box below the carb is smaller than the carb venturi's (throat). It is useless to mount a 24/24 over a 150 carb box if you don't enlarge its opening and then cut the gasket's

BTW, On road trips, don't forget to premix an additional 1% to be safe. Since you still have the 125/150CC oil mix gear. The way to fix this is in the link below, but you 'd need to sign up at stellaspeed, http://forums.stellaspeed.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=11170&hilit=oil+pump&start=20 http://picasaweb.google.com/Vespisti1/VariousPXPics#5311942966748296418

I suggest a Polini 177 kit and with a 22 COGS cosa clutch for a 10% upgear + match carburator box botom to your bigger carburator. Jetting 150 air, BE5 mixer, 128 - 125 main. with the sito+ you will get to 100KMH (105-110 on the speedo) Good luck

  • May not work for tuned 200s

Sip road sport flaws: 1) Need to cut tail pipes or cannot change tire inflated 2) Nightmer to mount in with fat tire. 3)After I cut the tail pipes 5 cms long, I meassured their internal diameter resulting in 13mm each. Beacuse te added tail pipe has two bends, it gets somewhat strangled so that it has even less air flow(a). When the areas are added

  • Wrong thread size

Got another one, same issue. the threads seems to ask for a 30 x 1mm flywheel puller. When I can source one 30mm puller, I'll update here to see whether it's the right one

  • Wrong thread size!!

I got mine and look perfect, but then when I wanted to adjust timing, I relized that the threads of the cone were 29mm instead of 28mm and the flywheel - puller did not work. Make shure you check this before installing it.

  • Re: standard carb for malossi 210 ?

Use the P/PX 200 air filter. This filter chokes the carb a little at high speed and creates the needed fuel progression that this carb would not have otherwise. remember this carb do not have a needle and progression over half-throttle would not work well without the PX filter. The T5 SI 24/24G carb and filter has the bigger T5 filter wich does not

  • Re: standard carb for malossi 210 ?

If you want this carb to work: 1st. Remove the gas filter from the carb's bowl cup. That alone increases the flow to the float bowl by 20% 2nd Replace the carb bowl cap cover and needle for the cosa 200 model. The cosa 200 needle is wider and has a better gas flow 3.On the cosa bowl cap drill this hole: http://picasaweb.google.com/Vespisti1/VariousPXPics#5311184238492565714
