Re: << Glorious Basterd >> the technical features

i think this conversion is AWSOME! where do i find a COMPLETE list to do this conversion to my 09 stella. and when i say complete, i mean with part numbers and all. (rear disc and rear drum version) i've tried to find all the parts but i don't want to order and miss something. also, i can't seem to find anything on changing the speedo gear so my speedo will stay correct. (m.p.h.)

i also saw that someone asked in one of the forums about weather this is "plug and play" but couldn't find an answer. how much work is involved in doing this conversion? are there instruction included? is it just unbolt the old and bolt on the new? i've posted asking if anyone has done this conversion ( trying to get some answers/info/help.), but seen no answers. can someone help me out PLEASE. thanks.

    hello,

has anyone done this conversion? i could use some advice. one of the SIP posts said a complete online description was coming in about a week, but that was months and months ago... has anyone found this description or heard anything more about it?

i'm looking to do this 12"/gts "glorious basterd" conversion to my 09 stella 2stroke and i'd like to talk with someone that has done the conversion. i see that people have bought some of the parts for the conversion, but no comments were made about the part/conversion.

thanks for any help anyone could give, heggie

    martin,

i thank you for your reply, but when i search some of those part numbers- nothing shows up on your website. also, i guess i should have been more clear... i just want to do the 12" wheel conversion  on my 09 stella 2 stroke. ( the economy version with the rear drum brake.) i don't think i need part numbers for body parts or engine parts or drop bars and speedos. also, you gave me part numbers for a black rim and a silver rim- i don't really understand that. and you gave me part numbers for a brake caliper and a master cylinder- can i just use the brake caliper and master cylinder that comes on my stella? plus, there is also no mention of how to keep the speedo working correctly (in m.p.h.) after the conversion.

i do thank you for trying to help me - but what you're telling me is kind of confusing. i would try to call the english speaking hotline, but it would cost me like $1.39 per minute. that's why i'm trying to do this via email.

if anyone has done this conversion, i would like to talk/email with you. just to try to get some clearer answers on what to order. to find out if the conversion went smoothly. and to see how you like the ride/performance post 12" wheel conversion. any help would be great.

    thanks, heggie

    SIP forum users,

i would like to talk/email with someone who has actually done this 12" wheel conversion. (in my case it would be done on a stella / LML star 2t.) is there anyone out there that has done this conversion? please, i could really use your help and advice and opinions.

    thanks.
