Hi - Im currently restoring a 1973 Vespa 50R. It is a european import and has no speedo or brake light fitted. To get this registered in UK i need both these. Can you recomended parts needed and how difficult is it to fit the speedo drive.

You need to change the stator plate and flywheel, so my advice is to get a 12v electronic conversion.You'll need to change the brake switch and bulbs aswell.
