    Lambretta Rev Counter/Speedometer SIP

A quality bit of kit! I just wish all scooter parts could be manufactured to such high standards. S.I.P. show what the standard should be!!

Hard to install. Head Temp sensor does not fit without modifying cylinder head. Connected to DC, all functions work. On AC, will not program, no buttons work, and tach just pegs all the way to the right.

If you have trouble and the revs will be not show correct, you need to adjust to the correct RPM Pulse setting.

All Infos could be found in the manuel.

    Lambretta Digital Speedo

The speedo works fine on a full DC conversion. Gear ratio 0.77 worked for me. However, the Tacho does not work with a full DC conversion and I can't fit the temperature sensor.
I wonder if the rev counter could be made to work by coiling a wire around the HT lead like my other Koso rev counter?

SIP speedo looks good real quality and well packaged etc. Early doors, erratic display and random operation currently.Im hoping this is down to a few required tweaks rather than a fundamental failure.Having had a MBD speedo (returned) the jurys still out. Also, cant seem to scroll through the menu.Anyway another couple of hours of fettling and review required.Approached Koso on the sensor set up, this didnt mount so will use MBD set up which i've fitted previous.Any one else has issues with the scroll button?

    Lambretta Speedo

This is truly one of the best items to be developed for the Lambretta in the past 20 years, I have fitted a couple of them now and find if you use 0.8 as your cable drive setting that it is pretty accurate, my customers think this speedo is brilliant, the spark plug fitting for the temperature sender is a bit fiddly, but of you modify it and fit it to the cylinder head studs or a manifold stud it works fine.

Great design but unreliable, display goes crazy all the time, imposible to fit temp sensor to standard lam head under spark plug, engine needs removal and cylinder head drilling, instruction or ad did not mention any of this
