Nice restauration but a big big minus for P200 engine. The "every day use" is more than "possible" with the original one. There's plenty of us to proove it.

Big Smile I love your comment, mostly since it was expected Wink

I can live with my non-original paint, I was thinking "The original was blue but I'll make it my own blue". I would never have it painted green or brown for instance... I could not live with a non-original engine but that's just me. Not that I don't like Ralf's work, please don't get me wrong Yes The most important thing is that he is satisfied, I was just making a remark on Ralf's point "making every day use possible", since I think it's bullshit... I'm driving to Fatima in June (3000 km) to prove this.

Both of our jobs are worth of applaud, but they are not to be called restaurations, are they? Maybe I can defend myself in terms of going back to the years they are produced. Mine is possible (well, sort of), Ralf's is not really...

Furthermore, the real beauty of Super Sport is in its engine, not in its looks...

Anyway, I apologize to Ralf If he got mad because of my comments.

    Zippy is standard Vespa 3.50 x 10

Any PPG store can give you an exact same paint according to MM code. That was my first option but I didn't like it (the blue pavone color). Considering that I don't like the other two SS colors (white and red), I went to my original mixture (actually it's Harley Davidson mixture with a little more blue)
