Amerivespa Lake Geneva, 2012

We received this letter from Mike Bobadilla, president of Vespa Club of America today:

"Thank you for your sponsorship of Amerivespa 20 in Lake Geneva.  Amerivespa was a great success.  We had over 1,000 attendees.  We raffled off over 65 raffle packages which included your contributions plus 4 scooters donated from Vespa USA, Genuine Scooter Co., Kymco USA, and Scooterworks. (Over 30k in raffle prizes)  It was a mix of vintage and modern scooters, with about 1/3 vintage scooters. Our attempt to break the Guinness World Record of 860 scooters in a parade did fall short.  We did have 660 scooters over a 2 mile route which is a new record for North America.  Our next Amerivespa will be in San Diego next June.  I  hope that we can count on your support once again.

Please give credit to any pictures used to Dan Ciccone Photography"
