For the first time a scooter customshow took place at the
Automobile fair in Salzburg last weekend. The SIP team was there to
catch some impressions for you.
We had the chance to see some cool new scooters, such as
organiser Ron's (of sQooter.com) Leonardo Pedalo. With many
copper-coated parts, a pedal driven engine and abreathtaking paint in
the style of Leonardo da Vinci, the scooter was a real eye-catcher for
many visitors.

Another highlight: The fully restored Primavera of
Chiemgauvespa's Patrick. Painted in a plain but noticeable shade of red
this scooter consciously avoids an exaggerated airbrush paintwork.

The Vespa is kitted with a 133cc Polini and a 28 Dello. As for
shocks... The SIP-Performance shock was the only option. "I build my
scooters to drive them", says the perfectionist and hops on his
custom-scooter to drive a 70km distance home.
Except an offroad
Lambretta and a couple of race Vespas, there was hardly any scooter that
you had not seen at previous events. But all in all it was nonetheless a
successful first customshow in Salzburg. We are looking forward to next
year when also automatic scooters will be on display and the winner of
the 'best of all' will be awarded with 10.000 €!!!
