The 1. VC Wolfsberg held their 6th meeting in Wolfsberg/Kärnten on the 1st weekend of july. Of course we travelled the 600km on scooters and so we started (perfect weather!) friday afternoon and drove to Bad Tölz - Kufstein - St. Johann and further on to Fieberbrunn and Zell am See. After a quick cooling-off in the lake we hopped right back on the scooters as we had another 350km to drive. From Zell am See we crossed the Triebener Tauern/Hohentauern and continued the journey towards Wolfsburg/Kärnten.
Thanks to the signposting, we easily found the location of the rally near Wolfsberg and the strain of the journey was quickly forgotten after the first „Gspritzten“. We were ready for the night to begin!

There was no time for boredom. The club's own P4 dyno turned out the be a true crowd puller and was running full speeds all the time with record performances of almost 40hp. You find the power curves on www.vespaclubwolfsberg.at. Of course the rideout to Wolfsberg was a must and (which made the german scooterists very happy) was finished at 4 o'clock - just in time for the soccer game. They had put up a tv set in the tent but, telling from the audience's reactions, there were not too many germans at the meeting :) So everybody had another good reason to go to the nighter and celebrate, even though some austrian Vespisti was still a little hung up on the 78 Cordoba issue. Sorry guys!
Sunday afternoon even the last visitors left the rally site.
A big thank you to the Vespa Club Wolfsberg for organizing such a great event!
