5th Challenge Scootentole

Vive la France!

This Thursday we set out for Mirecourt, where the first race of the Challenge Scootentole and the ESC Warmup

for the 2010 season took place.

We took three scooters with us (2x Polini, 1x Falc) and were more than ready to get going.

The participants were grouped into 4 classes. The 'Roulage Tourisme', where you could gather first racing

experience without any pressure; a street class, that allowed daily drivers to compete on the circuit and two

proper racing classes: one for large- and one for smallframes.

Robert Leibfarth won the smallframe class three times in a row. Veit Nübel und Christian Kachel came in

second and third. Also Mike Betz was among the fastest drivers.

Although the weekend was freezing cold and rainy, we had a blast in France!

A big THANK YOU to the organizing team for this great event, to all the drivers for a fair competition

and to all the others for creating a wonderful atmosphere.
