Direct from the roadway to the shop. In the 2006 racing season our SIP/STOFFIs Racing Team took a performance quantum leap with the VSP Race. To this day, the VSP Race is a popular and powerful racing exhaust for tuned small frames thanks to it's large volume. Perfect for highly tuned old school cylinders like raised POLINI 130cc's or MALOSSI 136 cc's. Together with the right periphery you can expect 20 PS on your rear wheel. But: the Race has limited use on the street due to it's powerful sound, some would call it loud.

 

The VSP Road is very similar to it's "big brother". Especially in lower ranges in the defused Road version noticeably quieter making it better for streets off the race track. A big plus here: as left hand version, the VSP Road fits motor scooter models with a side compartment. Perfect for ET3 pilots and those who usually can't use a larger racing exhaust because the side compartment is in the way. The Road has noticeable performance increase. On one of our test scooters with a decent POLINI 133cc set up, the VSP Road made 14 PS mobile. A complete combination for daily usage, that - with the right transmission - will get you 120 km/h. What more can you want?

 

Conclusion: The VSP Race, with it's large volume, gets some serious speed out of a modified racing cylinder. The Road version is the perfect racing exhaust for daily small frame usage.

 

Racing exhaust / made of steel/ carbon silencer, silver-white / Left hand curly or Left hand

Steel, transparent paint, carbon silencer, silver-white, available as left hand curly (Race) or left hand (Road).

Jets and ignition must be modified.

 

SIP-TIP: The VSP harmonizes perfectly with the 133er POLINI (2 mm higher), Mazzucchelli racing shaft, POLINI 25er reed valve carburetor kit, MMW cylinder head and 27er transmission with 25/26 DRT clutch cog. Additionally, QUATTRINI's/PARMAKITS and Co. will be equally happy with the VSP.
