The higher the age and mileage a scooter has, the more necessary a replacement cylinder becomes. Its bore may be worn and might also have damaged by a heat seizure or three. This becomes most evident through a general lack of power and lower fuel economy. To remedy these problems we have value-for-money orientated reproductions of the original cylinder available produced by, amongst others, RMS.
Their dimensions, performance, layout and appearance are identical to the original PIAGGIO versions. We also have a limited supply of original PIAGGIO replacement cylinder kits for certain models in stock. They are delivered in the original PIAGGIO packaging which makes them clearly identifiable.

Replacement cast-iron cylinder kits including suitable piston and piston rings, a cylinder head and gasket set are not included , correspond to the layout of the original items exactly, expect no increase in performance over the original items.
SIP-TIP : Do not forget to order a suitable gasket set. While you are at it why not replace the variator roller weights, motor and gearbox oil, lock nuts and the air filter.
