„Completely Crazy! Wheelies down the road till my tires were smoking....rushing down the highway at 60 km/h, 4“ above the asphalt!“ Typical comments from mini bike newbies. At first, it‘s easy to mistake a mini bike or scooterino for a toy, but I wouldn‘t let my little brother try one out. It takes a real man to control a reed valve run 2 stroke motor, disc brakes front and back, Slicks, electronic ignition and up to 9.5 horsepower with only 20 kg weight! To top this off, max speeds up to 90 km/h are possible!! To be truthful, these mini racers belong on go cart tracks or closed off parking lots. It would not be couth to get caught driving this on the street ;-) Mini bikes are totally hip both in Italy and the U.S. where they have their own special racing series. Germany, too, has it‘s own race series. In Germany, information how to get a license can be found from the DMSB (www.dmsb.de). By the way, this is a perfect low priced introduction to sport racing.
SIP-TIPP: An integrated helmet and leathers reduce pavement rash and increase your adrenaline output - and willingness to go to the limit!
POLINI Scooterino The meanest - and the smallest of all scooters. Irregardless if 4.2 or 6.2 horsepower, the scooterino is as hot as a pistol and is a guaranteed rush. Comes in 3 hip colors: blue metalic, black and white. Our hearts bleed for scooterino fans, as there are no tuning parts for the scooterino (not yet, but who knows...)
