Complementary to the 94cc MALOSSI 'Testarossa' cylinder kit MALOSSI have also presented a new crankshaft, including a 90mm con-rod which leads to a 40mm stroke. This crankshaft is completely up-to-date and state-of-the-art, with forged crankshaft webs and con-rod, a 13mm gudgeon pin, lubrication holes at the small-end and lubrication slots at the big-end bearings, fine balancing and many more high-end features. This crankshaft is fully compatible with the MALOSSI RC-One motor casings, plug and play! Other after-market motor casings, such as the MALOSSI C-One require the crankcase opening to be machined out to a diameter of 76.5mm. This 'Team' crankshaft can also be used in combination with the 86cc 'Bigbore' cylinder kits, although a 5mm thick cylinder gasket surface spacer (# MO716345), for PIAGGIO motors, is also required to compensate for the increased stroke available.
Crankshaft MALOSSI MHR Team for 86cc/94cc
Crankshaft stubs constructed using 18 Ni Cr Mo5 alloy, crankshaft design includes a monolithic rotational mass, manufactured with high precision computer controlled machinery, each separate component is exposed to five individual tempering processes before assembly, excellent surface finishing for increased durability, dynamically balanced-enabling up to 16.000 rpm(!), con-rod produced using forged 18 Ni Cr Mo5 alloy, high-precision needle bearing, suitable for high-revving motor set-ups.
SIP-TIP : In order to fit this crankshaft into a Minarelli motor casing the MALOSSI MHR variator pulley (# M5112800) or the 'Overrange' pulley kit (# M6112811/M6112812) will also be required due to the increased diameter of the crankshaft stubs.
