When a specific rpm has been reached by your motor, the centrifugal forces created, force the clutch shoes to move outwards and connect with the clutch housing, so causing it also to rotate and transfer the power created by the cylinder to the rest of the gearbox. MALOSSI has both items available together as a kit to save you money!
The MALOSSI Maxi Fly Clutch offers large, friction-optimised contact surfaces which greatly reduce clutch-slip. The overall weight of the unit is also reduced which ensures a more agile motor with much improved pick up and acceleration. The internationally patented adjustment system, consisting of a railed pivot mechanism, allows fine tuning of the specific pick up RPM without having to replace the springs every time. The rail can be adjusted to three separate positions, affecting the relative strength of the springs. For an even stiffer set up, even stiffer springs are also included. This kit can be considered as an ideal replacement for the original item. Due to the tough PO4 steel used in their construction they possess a greatly increased stability at high temperature.
