The range of cylinders that MALOSSI have available for four-stroke Maxi scooters has, over the years, grown considerably. One of their main selling points has always been a long-lasting reliability in everyday use, despite their high power output. The reason for this is easily explained. The experience that MALOSSI gains on the racing scene results in prototype components being created with this knowledge. These items are then further tested, developed and perfected on the race circuit. This evolutionary process leads to the high quality of the tuning components they produce. In addition MALOSSI use the finest grade of materials and the very latest production techniques to ensure precise, minimal manufacturing tolerances with all of their products.
This 140cc aluminium performance cylinder produced by MALOSSI will breathe some extra life into the older PIAGGIO four-stroke motor. These PIAGGIO motors do not have a reputation as being the most powerful out there, to say the least! MALOSSI have reacted to this problem and now have this perfect bolt-on accessory available for these motors, such as the one powering the Vespa 125cc ET-4 model (Motor Code : ZAPM04). This conversion kit does not only bring with it an increased cubic capacity, but also an improved gas-flow. More torque and a higher top speed are available when the motor is properly set up. A high quality forged aluminium piston, for increased durability, is also included.

Aluminium cylinder with a chromed bore lining (piston clearance 0.05mm), increased cubic capacity, compression ratio : 1:11.5, 48.6mm stroke, original exhaust and carb compatible, forged aluminium piston with a high silicium proportion for added durability, optimised gas-flow properties and improved fuel economy.
SIP-TIP : We recommend the use of a NGK CR9EB spark plug with this cylinder kit. Combined with the MALOSSI 14/47 gear cog kit the newly available power can be effectively transmitted to the road. The size of the main jet should also increased by 8-10%.
