“You can't beat cubes” KÜBLER RACING, from Bonn in Germany, have taken this advice to heart and the proof is presented in the form of these conversion kits for the PIAGGIO Leader 125-200cc liquid cooled motors. These kits consist of a modified crankshaft combined with either a 244-278cc PIAGGIO cast iron cylinder, or a 269-282cc MALOSSI aluminium cylinder as part of the SERIE PRO range of tuning components. Further parts such as a cam-chain, air-filter adapter and all necessary fixing parts are included with these kits. The impressive boost in both torque and power provided by these kits makes the investment more than worth it!
If you already possess a PIAGGIO Quasar motors cylinder as a tuning basis we can recommend the Crankshaft Conversion Kits. They include all of the parts mentioned in the previous paragraph, apart from the conversion cylinder. If you wish to fit a conversion cylinder to the 250cc Quasar motor you will require a crankshaft with a 60mm stroke and a 15mm gudgeon-pin diameter, 300cc Quasar motors need a crankshaft with a 63mm stroke and a 16mm gudgeon-pin diameter.

Helpful Hint : The KÜBLER RACING conversion crankshafts are based on 'Kat 2' crankshafts but are also fully compatible with motors where the 'Kat 1' crankshaft was originally fitted.
SIP–TIP : The oil-surge prevention plate, located within the cylinder head, must first be modified for successful inclusion of these kits. In addition the 125cc motor will require the 200cc motors flywheel unit (#PI584689), the 200cc motor needs the pulley pressure-plate from the 125cc motor (PI845607) and a pressure regulator is also necessary to compensate for the higher compression ratio. If you are tuning a carb model we recommend the use of an 8-10% larger main jet. A taller overall gear ratio is also advisable along with a NGK CR8EKB spark plug.
