Alongside Falc, Quattrini and Co. BSG offer some of the hottest tuning parts available to date. The three letters that make up the company name originate from the surname initials of high-end tuner Fabio Begani, racing legend Stefano Scauri and ET-3 wizard Alessandro Graiani. We could stop explaining right here because these guys don't do things by halves. Quite on the contrary BSG and the BSG supported pilots belong to the premier league of Italian scooter racing. Be it in the VPI (Vespa Pista Italia), the CIA (Campionata Italiano Accelerazione) or the new POLINI Cup. With a stunning performance of 48PS, the BSG smallframes was the most powerful scooter on the dyno at the Customshow in Landsberg 2013. It's clear that special components are required to rein such power.
BSG clutches have proven to be more than a match for even the most powerful of tuning set ups. They are exclusively produced in small production runs with all the essential components being precisely CNC machined. The aluminium alloy base plate is produced including special recesses for sixteen strengthened springs (eight narrow springs contained within eight larger versions). Inspired by the original PIAGGIO PK XL-2 clutch design, uo tp five friction plates with a special carbon mixture ensure a maximal frictional area and guarantee reliable transmission of a solid supply of torque to your gearbox.
The sintered friction plates are equipped with additional lubrication grooves that help to increase the clutch's thermal capacity. With thin friction plates that are harder to compress and will not change their shape when hot, the clutch works very precisely and guarentees a direct and powerful torque transmission. The clutch is delivered with a spacer for the clutch cover and a puller. Available in two versions with 4 or 5 discs.
Conclusion: High end performance clutch. Separates perfectly and transmits the power output of even the strongest engines one to one straight onto the street.

CNC machined clutch basket/primary drive assembly including primary repair kit, cover and base plate are also CNC machined from solid aluminium alloy. 8 strengthened springs, 4 or 5 carbon coated friction plates, 3 or 4 aluminium plates (1.5mm), 1.5mm spacer for clutch cover, 1mm clutch shaft spacer plus fixings for complete assembly.
SIP -TIP : Do not forget to order a pressure plate that includes a ball bearing mechanism (Part No. 50050000). For maximum pressure between the plates, even stronger springs are also available (Part No. 82374100). Do not forget to order new primary springs!
