PINASCO is a big name in tuning fans history books. Back in 1969, the Italian motor magazine "Motorciclismo" presented a PINASCO tuning cylinder for Vespa, the first tuning cylinder ever marketed. Dependability and top quality workmanship, that's been PINASCO's badge of recognition for decades.
Well earned indeed, say all their satisfied customers back then and today. The excellent aluminum cylinder with it's high quality nicasil lining, 6 transfers and solid ASSO piston, stands for the impeccable workmanship and continuous high standards of PINASCO.
And it's rather easy to tune it up a little more with a 24/24 carburettor, a modified intake and racing shaft. If you want to get max potential out of your cylinder, both cylinder and casing should be modified.
Conclusion: attractive price and ideal for tuning beginners when it's about aluminum and balanced thermics. Ideal for daily cruising, but also for tuning purposes.
Aluminum/ 63mm Bore/ 6 Transfers/ 177.68cc
Aluminum cylinder, 57mm stroke, 6 transfers, each 2 auxiliary transfers, Y-shape and divided boost port, piston with 2 piston rings, upper ring L-ring, original PINASCO cylinder head included in delivery, includes gasket set and mounting instructions. The casing should - not must - be modified to fit the larger transfers. Jets and ignition should be checked and optimised.
SIP- TIP: W3AC spark plugs, main jet and ignition adjustment are a must. Carburettor SI 24/24, Italian/SIP/JL racing exhaust, lighter flywheel/Vespatronic, race/long stoke crankshaft recommended. Full circle/flowed crankshaft and 28-30mm carburettor are the steps to the next level.
