QUATTRINI M1 Cylinder Kit combines the quality of Pinasco with the brute force of a Zirri cylinder. Down at the starting line of 150 meter drag racing, 6.9 sec. times have been achieved – a bare shadow slower than champion Scauri with 6.48 seconds. Zirri and co. has been in a class of it’s own up till now, so move over folks, cause there’s a new cylinder in town - and this one’s sure to win any showdown! This cylinder is designed for housing induction and can be driven over a disc valve as well as reed valve induction. Ideal for those wanting to continue using their manifold without intending to modify their body. The motor housing has to be modified, but not welded in the first modification stage. With a central spark plug, the cylinder cowling spark plug opening has to be re-adapted.
Conclusion: Depending on how high you want to gamble, this versatile cylinder kit can be installed in a dependable normal scooter or all the way up to a high end racer. For those wanting more power, this cylinder has a lot of potential, but that nedessitates modifiying both cylinder and motor casing. You can get up to 25 PS with the QUATTRINI kit.

aluminum cylinder, 51mm stroke, 5 transfers, two large bridged auxiliary side transfers, piston with one HQ 1.0mm piston ring, 8mm exhaust studs, centred cylinder head with spherical milled combustion chamber, timing: 126/178°. Two versions with centred or conventional spark plug position available. Motor periphery should be matched to the increased performance and jet size sould be ajdusted. fis all Vespa PV/ET3/PK/XL/XL2 models, except PK automatic. The crankcase must be modified to match the larger cylinder transfers.
