Racing Cylinder PARMAKIT SP09

Italian racing champion STEFANO SCAURI has joined with a noble Italian manufacturer to create high quality aluminum cylinder kits that carry the proud name "SP09, Parmakit by Scauri".

SP stands for Sport Production, a fitting name that shines with generous transfers, a one piece boost port and a VERTEX piston with an 1.00 mm piston ring. Available in two cylinder versions, with and without divided exhaust. Timing on both kits is identical.

Cylinder version 1 is built without an exhaust bar: 38 mm,~ 67% exhaust width. Ideal for tuning novices and touring fans.

Cylinder version 2, with a divided exhaust and 46.5 mm ~ 82% exhaust width, is designed for sport and racing usage. The motor casing will need modification, but in the first step will not need welding. The pinch gap should be at least 1.3 mm and can be adjusted exactly through the base gasket included in delivery. Exhaust stud distance is 62 mm, exhaust systems will need modification, or rather, outfitted with a modified flange disk.

The SP09 Evo has a forged piston and a modular cylinder head. Available with 58mm and 60mm bore (105mm con-rod crankshaft necessary).

Conclusion: depending on degree of modification and cylinder version, the motor is extremely versatile, from thoroughly dependable daily commuting to pure sport pleasure.

 

Aluminum/ 57-60 mm bore/5 transfers/ 130.14 cc

Aluminum cylinder, 51 mm stroke, 5 transfers, each side 2 large divided lateral transfers and a generous boost port, VERTEX piston with 1.00 mm steel piston ring, bi-conical piston gudgeon pin, 8 mm exhaust studs with 62 mm stud distance and 36 mm exhaust diameter, 8x screwed, centered CNC milled cylinder head with centered or conventional spark plug position, exhaust with or without bridge incl. gasket set.

SP09 Evo: modular cylinder head, modular, orange anodized,  forged piston, divided exhaust for 97 and 105 con-rod.

Motor periphery should match performance increase and jets should be adjusted. Fits all Vespa PV/ET3/PK/XL/XL2 models, except PK automatic. Motor casing should be adapted to fit larger cylinder transfers. For the EVO the cylinder base in the casing need to be machined up to 63mm.

 

SIP-TIP: main jet adjustment and new spark plugs are a must. Racing shaft with 24/25 cone. Exhaust VSP Race or FRANZ, electronic ignition such as VESPATRONIC or PARMAKIT, carburetor 24-38 mm. Primary 2.54 - 2.34 with short DRT fourth gear 48/49 teeth.
