The respected Portuguese firm JASIL has been producing high quality two-wheeled tuning components for a number of years. For many their products are better known under the 'TOP Racing' brand name. In recent years they have enhanced and improved their status to an address to visit when quality and innovation are required.
JASIL/TOP Racing crankshafts are available in two main versions. The 'Standard Crankshafts' are ideal as replacement for original items, with original factory quality. The 'Racing Crankshafts' that the Portuguese also produce represent the finest technology, fit for any race set-up!
Race Crankshaft / 57mm stroke / 110mm con-rod.
Crankshaft big-end ? silver bearing cage, blunt, thick shaft-stub, includes small-end bearing, lubrication channels for the small-end and lubrication slots for the big-end, polished crank-webs, HQ.
SIP - TIP : A new set of crankshaft bearings, oil seals, and a new woodruff key are necessary to complete this job properly. A new gasket set along with fresh clutch and flywheel holding nuts will also require ordering. We recommend its combination with a performance cylinder and matching exhaust such as the SIP Road, SITO Plus or even the SIP Performance! Do not forget to check and adjust the jetting of the carburettor and the timing of the ignition before use!
The above mentioned port timings are determined by the shape of the clutch-side crank-web. E.g. 138°/6° after TDC (Top Dead Centre) means that the inlet port of the disc-valve mechanism opens 6° after TDC and remains that way for 138° of each rotation. Please note : These timings are always approximate due to the hand-finished production of these HQ crankshafts!
