The T5 long stroke, flowed crankshafts are manufactured by WORB5 on the basis of a new standard crankshaft in small batch production. The crankshaft provides the rev eager T5 with additional power at low and medium revs. The crankshaft has a 56.5 mm stroke (instead of 52 mm) and a 110 mm connecting rod (instead of 105 mm). The lower piston boss is slit for improved lubrication. The crankshaft comes with a 6 mm aluminium base spacer (which needs modification to match with the engine’s transfer ports). The crankshafts are ‘gelippt’ (=flowed) according to current tuning standards. Check the ignition’s firing point (17° before TDC). A squish of around 1 - 1.5 mm goes well with a geometric compression of 1:10 - 1:11. Use multiple head gaskets and/or skim head.
Conclusion: Perfect for all T5 riders, who are not satisfied with standard solutions.
