Long stroke, flowed crank shafts are the newest update for long stroke shafts. In our SERIE PRO line, we have modified shafts from the workshops of German tuning master WORB5, based on MAZZUCCHELLI and TAMENI crankshafts.
The crankwebs have been specially modified and streamlined. The word "gelippt" (=flowed) has established itself as the description of this new hit. Shaft contour design guides the fuel mix through the crank flange instead of hitting it face on when entering. This will keep your fuel flow moving steadily instead of getting blocked or creating unnecessary turbulence. Flange modification allows more usable volume, crankcase compression sinks, more fresh fuel flows in resulting in higher fill. This interaction results in higher speed ranges and increases performance Additionally, shafts are finely balanced, the connecting rod swings at 12 o'clock.
The form of the EVO crankshaft is more extremely flowed and, additionally, laser welded. This is as good as it gets with a disc slide valve. And to top it off, they're super durable and run really quiet. We recommend this version for motors intended for 25 hp and more. All 62mm crankshafts are outfitted with a DRT excenter stud and 62 mm stroke. Your cylinder will need raising and the crankcase will need modification.
Conclusion: higher performance than normal long stroke crankcases, and less vibrations.
