German tuning experts MMW have now been manufacturing specialist high end components at the highest quality levels for several years. The MMW RD350 reed valve manifold is a thrill to every tuner. In its second version (MMW2), the successor to the legendary MBD intake manifold boasts some big improvements. The CNC milled MMW manifolds have a very smooth, flow optimised surface and can be driven both with the conventional RD350 as well as the newer TASSINARI reed valve. Limited modifications to the connection piece are required for the TASSINARI reed valve.

The MMW intake manifold is available in two versions. Similar to the MBD intake manifold, the basic MMW 1 version has a slanting (45°) reed valve. By extending the intake duct (spacer is included in the scope of supply) engines gain support and achieve more torque through the shifting of the useful rev range. The bigger intake diameter also permits a higher inflow speed. In combination with the streamlined design this guarantees a maximum fill level. On the optimised MMW 2 version, the intake cross section was further enlarged and the position of the reed valve changed so that it is now positioned at an angle of 70° lengthways to the crankshaft. Both versions of the intake manifold are supplied with a suitable aluminium connection piece and set of screws. The connection pieces and the gaskets and screw sets required for assembly are also available individually. The original fastening points are maintained on installation. No welding is necessary on the crankcase.

The manifolds are also available including the SIP RD350 reev valve block.

DELL‘ORTO PHBH 28-30mm/ VHST 24-28mm/ VHSH 30

PWK/KOSO/SERIE PRO 28-32mm (connection Ø36mm).

 

With Ø36mm outlet size and connection carburetor 40mm , the intake manifold is suitable for the:

MIKUNI TMX 32-35

PWK/KOSO/SERIE PRO 28-32mm (connection Ø39mm).

 

With Ø36mm outlet size and connection carburetor 44mm , the intake manifold is suitable for the:

MIKUNI TMX 38mm

DELL‘ORTO VHSB 34-38/VHSC 39,5mm 

PWK 38mm

 

SIP-TIP: Order the reed valve block RD 350 (part no 40310000), the reed valve block gasket (part no 78544000), and the matching connection rubber (e.g. for Ø35mm part no SIP0136) at the same time. The intake manifold gaskets (part no 92200300 (LML), 92200100 (MMW1), 92200200 (MMW2)) are also required.
