6 transfer ports and a brand piston are almost too boring to be worth mentioning. MALOSSI offers a compression of 12.5:1, Super/ Super Plus is the standard here. With the specially designed cylinder head, MALOSSI is the only one that has a central combustion chamber with crushing zone and effective spark plug position.
The cylinder actually cries out for a powerful racing exhaust and then rewards you with a sporty sound and the power kick to match. Her too, accurate tuning of ignition and carburettor guarantee high-air-flow fun on short stretches. The original transmission should be replaced by a longer primary.
For better dissipation of heat, we recommend painting the surfaces black. A matt-black surface gives off heat more intensively than a bright or polished one.
Conclusion: The winner, when it comes to the price/performance ratio! High-torque, also happy with revs. 2-person use is no problem. Watch out on long distances or longer stretches at full throttle.

Cast-iron cylinder, stroke 43mm, 6 transfer ports, consisting of 2 side transfer ports and one large boost port divided in two, pistons with 2 piston rings, large piston window, 6mm exhaust studs, original MALOSSI cylinder head, head screws and small end bearing are included in delivery, compression 12.5:1, incl. gasket set.
Fits all Vespa 50/PK/XL/XL2 models, except PK automatic. The crankcase should be matched to the larger cylinder transfer.
SIP-TIP: 3.00 to 2.86 transmission, reinforced clutch springs or PK-XL clutch are a must, racing carnkshaft and carburettor size 19 – 24mm recommended. A "must-have" is the SITO Banana or preferably the POLINI racing exhaust. An HP4 or a Vespatronic would not be a bad thing either.
