High flyer 172cc Tuningkit from MALOSSI is a real hottie. More stroke, more power, higher rpm's, simply a big plus in every important area.

Based on the characteristics of the original cylinder, MALOSSI has developed a sporting version of the T5 theme. High quality aluminum, 5 transfers and a durable nicasil powder coating add up to a thermally dependable cylinder. The piston is name brand ASSO, with 2 thin break resistant trapeze form piston rings.

Sporting driving characteristics, extended trips alone or with a passenger are no problem with this power increase. Carefree driving around town with the original 24mm carburettor, this cylinder would love a longer transmission, sport exhaust and a larger carburetor 28mm+ when attempting being tsars on the motorway. Important here is a modified cylinder head for each, we recommend the CNC milled Highlight from MMW.

For those who want more: worb5 has taken the cylinder from the SERIO PRO line to a higher level; the W5 MALOSSI 172cc is modified on exhaust, piston base cutout, boost port and piston cutout.

Conclusion: The SIP Man's favorite for every T5 friend; absolute max capacity, finest aluminum, high quality coating, solid and good quality pistons. Rpm's and performance guaranteed.

 

Aluminum/ 65mm bore/ 5 transfers/ 172.55cc

Aluminum cylinder, 52mm stroke, 5 transfers, pistons with 2 trapeze piston rings and chromed run surface, compression 11.0:1, exhaust width 61%, includes gasket set, exhaust studs and gudgeon pin bearing.

Plug & Play, in first level no adjustments necessary. Jets and ignition should be checked and optimised!

 

SIP TIP! W3CC spark plug, ignition alignment 14-16°, main jet SI 24/24G 118-122, modified cylinder head/MMW head and COSA clutch are a must, racing exhaust such as SIP Performance, longer transmission and 28/30mm carburettor recommended and 30/34 carburettor with reed valve manifold belong on the wish list for all bottom end tuners.
