For several of the earlier VESPA models there are no longer original PIAGGIO cylinder kits available, for neither love, nor money. We cannot change this state of affairs, at least not yet... We can although already help to ease the deficit of original styled cylinder heads available. We have been able to fill some of the gaps in availability of cylinder heads with our SIP Spare Parts line.
The cylinder heads are CNC milled from solid aluminium alloy. The profile of this cylinder head has been designed for an optimal fit and performance in combination with the respective piston crown and the inner circumference of the cylinder barrel in the motor it is intended for. The compression ratio and squish band clearance have been calculated exactly for the requirements of each individual cylinder type covered. We have cylinder heads available for the VESPA 125cc VM/ VN1T, VESPA 125cc VN2T, VESPA 150cc VL/VB/T2-3/ACMA GL and VESPA GS150 models.
Conclusion: Missing or defective original PIAGGIO cylinder heads with broken cooling fins, stripped spark plug threads or warped gasket surfaces etc. can be replaced at last!
