Steering locks or lock cylinders are inexpensive standard spare parts for your Vespa. No matter if you lost the key or the lock is rusty – our high quality cylinders are a decent replacement.
This depends on the model, for ignition/steering lock, luggage compartment or seat. In contrast with the Vespa 50 cylinder locks for instance, the dimensions of the collar on the steering lock are not relevant. The lock body is always identical and does not have fluting for the collar. It is secured in the rear part of the key body where it snaps into place. To loosen this if, for example, the key is lost, it is necessary to remove the cascade. You can then unlock the nib with a sharp object at the intended opening. The key cylinder can now be pulled out to the front. The scope of supply includes the specified number of key cylinders and one pair of keys with plastic top parts.
SIP-TIP: the spring for the steering lock is not included in the scope of supply and is frequently forgotten. Make sure you order it!
