Racing Cylinder POLINI EVO

POLINI MOTORI have developed an extremely tasty performance cylinder system for everyone who wants MORE: The POLINI EVOLUTION cylinder kit with direct carb manifold mounting. The reed valve version comes equipped with a six petal carbon fibre reed valve kit. The aluminium cylinder has an extra large bridged exhaust port and includes the latest POLINI cylinder head. The extra cooling fins on the cylinder ensure a more effective cooling process. To help this particular kit to an effective cubic capacity of 135cc the POLINI full circle crankshaft, especially designed for this system, with the 102mm con-rod (part no 2100034) should also be ordered. The crankshaft casing will need to be modified slightly to provide clearance for the longer 52.8mm stroke.

Conclusion: The subtitle that POLINI gave the EVOLUTION cylinder kit is “Voglio di pui” or “I want more” and it delivers exactly what they promise. The LAMELLA REVOLUTION is a potent alternative to PARMA KIT etc. that, according to your individual peripheral items (carb, exhaust, crankshaft, etc.) has a lot of potential to be exploited...


Aluminium/57mm diameter Bore/ 6 Transfer ports/ 135cc

Nicasil plated aluminium cylinder, 52.8mm stroke, 102mm con-rod, 6 transfers, 6 petal reed valve assembly (carbon fibre, 0.4mm), coated piston with a 1.5mm thick piston ring (S10 grade chrome plated), predefined compression ratio, juicy port timings, bridged exhaust port, the latest POLINI cylinder head and gasket set included in delivery. The motors peripheral parts should be matched to the increased performance and jets should be adjusted. Fits all Vespa PV/ET3/PK/XL/XL2 models, except PK automatic. The crankcase should be adapted to fit the larger cylinder transfers.


SIP-TIP: To fit this kit properly you will require a crankshaft with a stroke of 52.8mm or more and a con-rod length of at least 105mm, for example the DRT shaft, the POLINI EVO or even the MAZZUCHELLI with the 54mm stroke. A decent performance expansion chamber exhaust system should also be included (POLINI EVO2 or a VSP racepipe etc.) and do not forget an improved ignition system (VESPATRONIC POLINI).
